Located in a quiet residential area on the west side of Toji Temple, a World Heritage Site. It is located in the area south of Kyoto Station, about 5 minutes by cab from Kyoto Station. If you use the train, get off at Toji Station on the Kintetsu Kyoto Line, and it is about a 12-minute walk. The nearest bus stop (Rajomon) is a 1-minute walk from the inn, so it is convenient for those heading to sightseeing spots. Direct access is available to the north in the direction of Kinkakuji Temple, and to the east in the direction of Kiyomizu Temple, Gion, and Heian Jingu Shrine. Of course, buses to Kyoto Station, Toji Station, and Shijo Omiya Station are also available. Our guesthouse was renovated in January 2022. All windows are double-paned to improve soundproofing and thermal insulation. In the Japanese-style room, a new hori-zataku table has been installed, and a kotatsu futon is available for winter use. The parking space has been expanded to allow for the parking of a large standard-size car. Three bedrooms are located on the second floor. Futon bedding can be provided in the Japanese-style room. Free check-in pick-up service is included. On the day of check-in only, we will pick you up at Toji Station on the Kintetsu Kyoto Line. Advance reservation is required. The last service ends at 8:00 PM. Free bicycle rental Two to three bicycles are available. They are free of charge. Please use them for shopping in the neighborhood. ■Area Info Shion is within walking distance to Toji, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The house is a bit far from the center of Kyoto, but its surroundings a quiet residential area where some Kyomachi residues. The bus stop 1 min walks from Tofukuji, Kiyomizu, Gion, Nanzenji, Heian Shrine, Nijo castle, Kyoto station. Toji station of Kintetsu line can go to Kyoto station at 1 station. Also easy access to the Nara direction. From Kyoto Station it takes about 5 minutes to take a taxi. To Toji station of the nearest station is about 10 minutes on foot.
