Passionate about architecture, design and art, Séverine has been welcoming guests in her two spaces for 5 years: a cozy little house, all in height and a loft with large volumes, all in length. Two unique spaces that have been converted into accommodation after having served as an architectural workshop at the Steinmetzdemeyer Architectes-urbanistes agency, which ensured its renovation.

Clausen is one of the oldest and smallest neighborhoods in the City. Its history ties into that of breweries dating back to the 12th century. Located to the east of Pfaffenthal and south-west of Kirchberg, the district of Clausen belongs to the fortified lower city of the capital of Luxembourg. Count Pierre-Ernest I of Mansfeld-Voderort (1517 | 1604), governor of Luxembourg for nearly 60 years, built the Château La Fontaine or de Mansfeld and a brewery. The brewery was first rented then bought by the Thyes family, before becoming the Clausen brewery. The magnificent Renaissance castle is among one of the most beautiful castles in Europe. Remains are still present in the park. The ART_is(t) House is actually located 60m from the remains of the Château de Mansfeld, a piece of which can actually be seen within the walls of our house!
