The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The house was cozy and very suitable for our group of four. The kitchen was well equipped. For dinner, we barbecued outside and enjoyed it on the terrace of the house. The breakfast prepared by the hostess was excellent, we especially liked the pancakes with jam. ;)

Nearby are shops and cafes. Has a large parking space for cars and the place is also friendly to the cyclists (I was travelling by bike).

    One has to be a nature lover if he/she is going to spend...

    One has to be a nature lover if he/she is going to spend three (or more) days in a place like this. It is rather easy to forget the everyday life in Kārzdaba. No shopping, no museums, just trees, birds, clouds.

    If you are into nature and scenic views- this is the place...

    If you are into nature and scenic views- this is the place for you. It's quite remote, stores and cafes are far- you need you own transportation. But the remoteness comes with great benefits of peace, quiet, birdsong and the most serene experience that you cannot get anywhere else. Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, all the necessities, a fireplace, towels, showers... and a mega cute friendly cat. I seriously fell in love with this place and with the warm welcome we received.
