The National park is a must see.
The National park is a must see. Also very little known is the old textile factory. Well worth a visit, awesome building and machinery. Great vibes when you walk through. A lot of pueblitos with history nearby.Paracho for guitar lovers, Santa Clara del Cobre for anything made out of copper. The waterfalls in Tzararacua. The volcano and lava buried church...

Uruapan is great because it has an amazing national park.
Uruapan is great because it has an amazing national park. It is also in close proximity to the nearby volcano and volcano-ruined village. And close to this other wonderful waterfall. And to an ancient temple. Good place to spend 4 nights.

All is new, clean& pretty.the beds are heavenly comfy.the kitchen is new&well equipment even with Coffee.its 2 blocks to the center parc. Great base to explore the nationalpark, the volcano and the guitar building village paracho.the museums are great too. When the door was stucked for a moment he fixed it and appologied even with gifts. I can highly recommend it.theres also a roofterrace;)
The door opened and I quickly realized how nice of a place this is. The person who let me in and gave me my room/key was super nice throughout my stay. I was very impressed with the decor, furniture and comfort. The bathrooms are very nice and large. This hotel is close to el centro plaza and also close to one of the most beautiful national parks in Mexico.
Hotel is centrally located, very nice interior decor. The double rooms are cute but unfortunately do not have WINDOWS which is kind of dark and depressive. It was daid in the description that double rooms have PATIO but they don't. Hotel has a secure private parking 100 meters from hotel. Strong wi fi.
My initial reservation was accepted - confirmation/pin number.
Then, somehow somehow the hotel rejected it and I'm guessing because they didn't want to honor Booking.com
I still haven't found out if I was charged - since I've been on the road and have had other pressing priorities.
The location was perfect because we were there for the Tianguis Artesanal de Uruapan and it was just a short walk from the hotel. The facilities are beautiful and very comfortable.
A perfect night for me.
They got everything, such as cooking area, parking spot.....
Several nights in this country and this hotel is the best.
Exceeded my expectations.
