The property was amazing. We stayed in the ground floor apartment which was lovely and clean, with all the facilities we needed and very comfortable beds. Lovely to have a little outdoor seating area too to relax. The location was ideal, peaceful and quiet but only a short cycle from town and well sited to explore the island. Paul and Pein were lovely too, and very welcoming with drinks and snacks on arrival. Would definitely return!

BREAKFAST: AMAZING and abundant! You can almost skip lunch after it! Paul and his wife provided us with 2 different breakfasts for the 2 days we stayed! ROOM: was super clean, really comfortable and big. The bathroom was super clean as well with all the necessary for the staying. The room was cleaned and tidied every day! Really a luxury! LOCATION: peaceful house located only 20’ by walk (or 9’ by bike) from the city center, very quiet, you could hear only the sound of the wind in the night and the sound of the birds waking up in the morning, such a nice feeling of connection with nature. Ah, don’t miss watching the stars from the veranda! Thank you Paul for being a perfect host! If we come back to Texel, we will definitely stay here again!

Cosy and very nice apartment. Surrounded by nature, however still easy to get to different locations. We had very nice hikes to the different areas of Texel from our stay. Kitchen was very nice! Had everything there that we needed. Bedroom and living area are also separate rooms. Bathroom was luxurious. We were welcomed very nicely. Very friendly owners😇. Parking was available, even a charger for electric car (2 point plug).

This property was wonderful! The room was extremely clean, very comfortable and the staff paid such attention to all of the little details. The location was idyllic, sitting on a farm with sheep and some horses, but only a short cycle or car ride to the city center of De Koog. I highly recommend staying here if you get the chance!

A very comfortable, clean and quiet place to stay in the countryside very near to De Koog. It has everything I needed for an enjoyable stay. I love being able to look out onto open fields. The owners are friendly and helpful and also give you your own privacy.
