There are many peaks in Åseral that are popular hiking destinations for both locals and visitors. Skoræ, Skrivarknuten and Homvasshei are some examples of great summit hikes. At over 1000 meters, Skoræ is the southernmost peak in Norway and is located in Ljosland. If you prefer to take it a little easier, you can relax on the beach at the Lislehylen bathing area in Kyrkjebygda.
