We started out for about 6 years ago, restoring the old mountain farm. Before we have restored other buildings at the Norwegian coast, and made boutique hotels. About 90% of the restoration is made by reused materials. We work towards a more sustainable future. We run the mountain farm, part time, as we also work with river restoration for the Norwegian government and make health probiotic product for your everyday life. From time to time, we have students from all over the world, working with us. Getting to know some of the history and traditions of the Setesdal Valley. ( a Unesco world heritage site) We also guide into the moutains, do "wild" cocking, arrange trips for nights outside and show how you can live a less stressful life. Herbs, flowers and some vegetables are grown at the farm. We guide into nature, do forest og ice bath (as one of the manager is a wimhof instructor.) Setesdal Museum is a nice place to start exploring the valley. To swim in the "troll kettles" down the river is an adventure. Mountain hike and climbing is easy accessible. Far up in the Raindeer country, we have canoes available. Here you can paddel into the highland and are soon of grid, with no cellphone coverage. You might see the flocks of Reindeer that lives here. There is a lot of trout in the mountain lakes.
