Our guesthouse - "Me Very Happy" guesthouse is situated in Sindhum village, a quiet place between Langtang village and Kyanjin Gompa. It is a small lodge, we have only 4 double rooms with 1 additional bed in each of the rooms, so we can accomodate 12 people maximum. Still, you can see it as a bonus, since you will feel like at home and there will be no noise from large group of tourists.

My name is Temba Tamang I am the certified Nepali guide. I live in Langtang valley and have a small guesthouse in Sindhum village, between Langtang village and Kyanjin Gompa. I can be your guide or porter/guide in all treks in Langtang area (Langtang Valley, Gosaikunda, Tamang heritage Trek and Helambu). I can also be your guide in Everest region, for example can guide you to the Everest Base Camp.

Upper part of Langtang Valley is dominated by its highest peak - Langtang Lirung. Above Kyanjin Gompa villave there are two relatively easy trekking peaks: Kyanjin Ri and Tserko Ri. Both can be climbed as a day trip from Kyanjin Gompa. No climbing skills are required, but a guide is recommended since some tourist has lost their lives at these peaks. From the slopes of Tserko Ri it is possible to see Shishapangma - the highest mountain situated entirely in Tibet, 8027 m high. Yala Peak it the highest trekking peak in Langtang valley. To get to the top no climbing skills are needed, but since the peak is quite far from Kyanjin Gompa, it is necessary to do the ascent as 2-day trip, and spending the night in a tent in the base camp. We can arrange Yala Peak ascent if you have at least 4 additional days (one day is needed for acclimatization trip to Kyanjin or Tserko Ri, and one day should be left as a buffer). An alternative is to trek to the upper part of Langtang valley, until Langshisha Kharka or even further. This area is abundant in wildlife. There are a lot of thars (wild Himalayan goats) and there is even a small chance to see a snow leopard.
