Not a lot of tourists spend time in Nuwakot, while the area is well worth visiting. This hotel seems to cater to businesses and NGOs. Room was cozy, spacious and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Best part is the garden with river views, where you can enjoy the breakfast and the food of the excellent restaurant.

The hotel owner bent over backwards to help in organising transport to our next destination. All staff members were polite and accommodating. The views from the hotel are breathtaking and the hotel is conveniently located to the main bus hub-a 5-10 minute walk.

I really enjoyed the calm and peaceful environment at Hotel Monalisa. The natural views from the balcony and windows were stunning and made the stay even more relaxing. We booked the Royal suite, it was luxurious. The most comfortable mattress and pillows and the spar was amazing. Staff were lovely and most accommodating.
