In the summer your holiday living is as easy as taking a wander down to the beach directly from the deck or firing up the BBQ. In the cooler months watch the sunset over the mountains and then snuggle up in front of the fireplace with a movie. This 2 bedroom home is ideally located to discover the excellent fishing of the Pelorus Sounds, launch your boat from the community ramp in the bay, or from the commercial ramp at Havelock Marina, where you can also join one of the many cruises. The cafes, bars, restaurants and small-town charm of historic Havelock are only a short 10 minutes drive away. The start of the Queen Charlotte Track at Anakiwa is only 9 minutes drive, and the famous Marlborough vineyards are just 25 minutes away. Mahakipawa Hideaway awaits! Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
