Mill Creek Cottage is located on the same property and shares a driveway with our family home but offers a high level of privacy with a private carpark, deck and lawn area. The cottage features two bedrooms: one with a queen bed, and the other with a single, a king single, and an optional trundler bed. Please be aware that the cottage does not have air conditioning so it can get hot in the late afternoon. There is a ceiling fan and we have provided a tower fan to assist with this. The open-plan living area includes a fully-equipped kitchen with views of The Remarkables, a spacious dining table, and a lounge area as well as a laundry cupboard with washing machine. A loft, accessible via a ladder in the main living area, serves as a workspace and relaxation spot with amenities such as yoga mats and a book exchange. Please note that the loft ladder requires close supervision of children at all times. Portacot available on request. Entertainment is provided with a TV equipped with Netflix, Disney Channel, and YouTube. While our two young children explore the property, they won't access your space directly. Expect a warm greeting from our friendly Golden Retriever and you may at times find our cat basking in the cottage sun. Please keep in mind that this accommodation may not be suitable for those who aren't fond of animals.

Mill Creek Cottage is just 500m from the Queenstown Cycle trail which links directly to Lake Hayes and Arrowtown (via Millbrook Resort). It is a 5 minute drive to Arrowtown, 15 minutes to Frankton and 25 minutes to central Queenstown. The closest bus stop is 2km away so having your own transport is preferable.
