As we were only there for one night it had everything we needed, but noticed that it advertised the cafe, but noticed that the cafe was closed and up for sale, although this was not a big deal as there were plenty of eateries close by.
Kerikeri was an easy place to get around.

It’s a wonderful art and food scene with hidden beaches and waterfalls all over the show. A great stop on your way through the north or as a base to travel from. It also has an airport for weekend getaways.

Rainbow Falls are worth a visit, especially on a longer river trail walk. The Stone Store is great but make sure you walk to the Pa Site to get a different perspective - about 250m to the right of the Stone Store and past the Plough and Feather. The pizzas at the bar behind the Plough and Feather are delicious! And the GF option was yum!

Has great venue for events and beautiful waterfalls and walks. The shops are varied, good quality, and many cafes to choose from with delicious food. We also really liked the Friday evening food fest at the Old Packhouse and the Saturday morning market there.
- The comfort, tranquility and garden-like surroundings which provide guests with privacy
- The motel is only a few minutes to Kerikeri's CBD by car
- Staff service your room daily
- Each motel suite has its own deck overlooking a garden
- Lots of streaming and live TV entertainment options - the best I have seen at a motel/hotel in a long time
- I didn't swim in the pool but it looked inviting
We had an absolutely incredible experience staying at Treghan luxury lodge. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The lodge itself was stunning, with luxurious amenities and immaculate attention to detail. Anna and Murray were amazing hosts. We can't recommend this lodge highly enough to anyone looking for a truly relaxing and indulgent getaway.
Such a beautiful spot and a very lovely home with extremely comfortable beds in the main house. We enjoyed kayaking and exploring the gorgeous garden. Wonderful that we were able to take our dog, too. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. The house was well equipped and we wanted for nothing. It was also only a short drive to Kerikeri to get supplies.
It’s conveniently off the main road into Kerikeri but surrounded by mature trees so you feel secluded and there isn’t much road noise either.
Lovely pool and cabana area and lots of shaded spots on the grass with trees to enjoy. Opposite the weekend markets and good cafe and next door to the chocolate shop.
At first appearance the room looked simple, but it had all the comforts we needed. The manager was very friendly, and provided a bottle of fresh milk for our tea/coffee. (A great touch). Close to the main part of Kerikeri, and close to the Rainbow Falls. We thought it gave exceptional value for money.
We received a very warm welcome from Bill upon our arrival. The gardens in the complex are absolutely stunning and made for a very relaxing experience. The room was very nicely appointed and the bed was really comfortable. We'll definitely stay here again the next time we visit Kerikeri.
The location was in the High Street in Kerikeri. The hosts introduced us to the facilities and then let us just relax. When we needed a little help with the car and for a street map they stopped everything and found us one. They could not have been more helpful,
Our stay was marvellous, the chalet was warm and cosy very clean and comfortable and well equipped I would definitely recommend Kerigold Chalet Motel to anyone looking for a great experience and stay over in Kerikeri, 10 out of 10.
Was a great place to spend our last two days of a 10 day stay in the Bay of Islands. Very peaceful and quiet on the outskirts of beautiful Kerikeri - Spacious room and garden were exceptional. Great service. Many thanks.
Such a lovely little pet friendly hotel. The location in Keri Keri is super convenient, Bill the host very friendly, bed very comfy, gorgeous gardens, and very well kitted out with a kitchen and verandah to sit out on.
Good location with interesting collection of horse carriages and vintage cars that the owner was only too willing to show us. Excellent views of Kerikeri inlet and the owners Clydesdale horses were very friendly.
The Apartment was a great place to stay overnight and we found contact with the Owners amazing! We would certainly consider staying here again if we were looking for accomodation in Kerikeri.
Great location in Kerikeri town near many stores and restaurants. The manager stayed later for our check-in and gave us a better room! Nice kitchenette and all very clean.
