This accommodation is very close to the airport, surrounded by lush vegewtation. It is convenient for a short stay before a flight but also ideal for longer stays to explore Tahiti island and nearby Moorea. Nina is a wonderful host who helped us take advantage of our short stay and tell us about life in Tahiti, as a local would. The private room is very comfortable, quiet and we slept very well. Nina can arrange to pick you up at the airport, and we really appreciated this option. We loved it here and would come back!

The location is only a 5 minute drive from the airport so a perfect place to stay for a late departure time. The room although part of the main house is still private and beautifully presented. Down to the super comfy large bed, AC and lovely bathroom. Nina the host is so delightful, welcoming and so incredibly helpful with everything we needed. We would love to stay again.

We booked a room at the Chalet Ohana only for a couple of hours. We arrived quite early and our connecting flight was quite late. We booked only to freshen up and enjoy the pool before the long flight. Unfortunately, it was raining. More important to mention is that Nina did everything she could to make us as comfortable as possible. The chalet is really close to the airport and the included transfer was perfect. The property is beautiful and the room with its amenities was put together with lots of love. You can not fault the Chalet Ohana.

This was a great little place and the hosts were so accommodating. We were only there for the night before our flight but the kids got a swim in and the dinner recommendation was a perfect place only 5 min away looking at the sunset over the ocean. Everything was new in the room and had everything we needed for the family. Loved our stay.

Nina and her Husband are very Nice. Nina is very reactive and very appreciable and helpful. The free shuttle service was very much appreciated as i had to sleep 1 night in papeete before my international flight. Good value. The room was very clean so was the bathroom which is shower and toilet enclosed with enough space for the entire bathroom not to be wet. There is air conditioning in the room which is much appreciated.

Lovely and friendly family. This guest house is fabulous. My room was clean and big with private bathroom and air conditioning. Sheltered areas available as an outdoor dinning area and a cute area open space with garden sitters, a terrace and a pool. So close to the airport and well located in papeete. Prices advantageous. Excellent place to stay while waiting for your flight to the next island, the hosts are kind and gracious and they will pick you up and drop you off at the airport for free. You have a pool you can use and the house is located a short cab ride away to the biggest Carrefour on Tahiti should you wish to stock up on snacks before heading out to your next island(s). Moreover there's Vini and Vodafone there at the Carrefour mall so you can get set up with a local sim card. Lastly you can walk from the Carrefour to the marina and spend some time there during the day before taking a cab back to the house and going to the airport. Our flight to Huahine had a late departure and we spent a wonderful morning and lunch this way. Nina and her family were excellent hosts, answering our questions and telling us about life on these beautiful islands. Thank you for a perfect stay as we started off our wonderful vacation Nina! If we ever visit Tahiti again we'll be back for sure. Maururu!
