Located 100-200 meters from the Batuan bus terminus. We are about 5 kilometers from Chocolate Hills and approximately 10-20 kilometers from the manmade forest, Loboc Riverboat rides, and the tarcier preserve. We are also less than a kilometer from the Shiphaus. From this terminus, you can take a van, 3-wheeler, or bus to just about anywhere. We would be glad to go to the terminus with you and help you find the right transportation wherever you want to go. This is a new facility, built to (my husband's) American standards. You won't find any place in town as clean, new, and decent as this one. Free parking across the street in the daytime, in our driveway at night.

I am Arlene, born and raised in Batuan. My husband is American, but he's been in Asia for 32 years, so he's not so bad. We have a 17-year-old daughter with us, a daughter attending college in USA, and an adopted daughter from China. I speak a little Cantonese, and my husband speaks limited Mandarin. Our adopted daughter is a published author of clean romance novels. My husband says he would rather sit in a dentist chair and rub salt in his eyes than to read a romance novel. I have met so many interesting people here, some from distant parts of Philippines, and some from other countries. I feel like we're the United Nations. Oh. One more thing. My birthday is December 25th. Kind of unusual, huh?

Batuan is a quiet, sleepy town. All the fruits, vegetables, and meats sold here are pesticide-free and chemical free. Seriously, people drink water from the streams. Having no industry at all, in Batuan you can see gazillions of stars at night. You can almost touch them. There is a 10:00 curfew in Batuan, which is very loosely enforced. And crime? What's that?
