In the neighbourhood you can visit just 600 m from the road the Botanical Garden of Funchal, one of the biggest tourist attractions of the island. The gardens have an incredible collection of plants, exotic flowers and an area for research and conservation. Plus a breathtaking view of the city of Funchal. Be aware that in the centre of Funchal there are several tourist attractions and information about cultural activities, radical activities, nature related activities, whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island. In the city you can visit: Old Funchal (old town), the market of the farmers, Funchal Cathedral, CR7 and other museums, Madeira Casino, Madeira Congress Centre, Santa Catarina Park, Funchal Marina, São Tiago beach, Barreirinha bathing complex, La Vie shopping centre and Anadia shopping centre.
