This hotel is so dreamy. The rooms are very comfortable and beautiful in an atypical, castly kind of way, whilst remaining modern and practical. The pool and restaurant area is so cozy and quiet. The staff is super kind and helpful. The restaurant is also very good, with nice wine selection. The breakfast is also delicious and they will make eggs for you the way you like it. It was by far the best hotel of our trip to Madeira!

Perfect location, just on the beach with a magnificent view from the window to the ocean. Very rich breakfasts. Spacy room with extra large and comfortable beds. It was very comfortable and pleasant to stay in this hotel. Thank you for making our rest so luxury!

The hosts were exceptional! Really lovely couple and they very kindly offered to pick me and my friend up from the local restaurant and drop us off at the hotel. Views were beautiful and the flat was really well maintained!

I loved my stay at the Wine house — it was a cozy and warm two-storey house with a nice backyard. Well equipped kitchen, stable wi-fi and TV — there was everything that I needed. Nice location on top of the mountain with a good view on the ocean and own banana plantation 🙂 5 minutes to Ponta do Sol by car. Roxana is a very hospitable host, she brought me bananas from their plantation and left a bottle of wine ☺️ She also gave me clear instruction on how to get into apartment and shared her recommendations on best restaurants in the area.

Spacious apartment with an amazing view! In reality it’s even more beautiful than in the picture. Fully equipped kitchen and a very convenient, dedicated, parking lot. Frank (host) was very helpful and accommodating. The Ponta do Sol is probably one of the best areas to stay in Madeira!

The village was delightful, we stayed a short car ride away.

The village was delightful, we stayed a short car ride away. It was accessed through a tunnel which was too long to walk through comfortably. We can recommend ‘The Old Pharmacy’ for lovely meals, particularly brunch.

It's got the best weather on the island.

It's got the best weather on the island. It's far enough away from the hustle & bustle /crowds & traffic of Funchal, but close enough to everything to access the sights. It was more peaceful here and homey. We really loved our hotel (Zino's Palace).

Its a lovely small coastal town, but parking is a massive...

Its a lovely small coastal town, but parking is a massive problem, with many people parking on the pedestrian path, and yellow lines. If I was visiting for the day, I would have gone elsewhere, but as a guest staying for 3 days, we spent many hours trying to park legally. Beware you can be clamped despite no road markings or signs, or restricted access.

A quiet little town, with nice streets and observation decks. There are several restaurants and only one shopping center in the center. It's a very nice sunset and it's always nice and warm here.

Great walks (Levadas) in the area. Accommodation was outstanding. Immaculate inside! Great outdoor space. Extremely kind and caring Host. Private parking space. One of the best places we have stayed at.

The property was very private, its spacious balcony had views to the sea and the picturesque village of Ponta do Sol. The interior was modern and spotless with all amenities thought of. The check in and out was brilliant, we were met by Sidonia from ‘A Home in Madeira’. During our stay we also met the owner who was very pleased to meet with us. The hot tub and BBQ area was a fantastic bonus. You can also walk easily down into the village via steps just next to the property.

Brand new apartment near the center of Ponta do Sol, the prettiest town on Madeira. The apartment is fully equipped, with all appliances new. The host is incredibly helpful. There's a small pool in front of the apartment available to guests. Everything is great. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

We loved our stay at Encanto do Sol! Juan’s garden is beautiful with a great view of the sea and Ponta do Sol. Juan was also a great host, leaving us a bottle of wine for when we arrived and a full Madeira cake for when we left! I would highly recommend staying here and I hope to come back!
