NetherlandsIt was a beautiful building from 1930 well renovated. It has a great outdoor space quite rustic and has a swimmingpool. Next to the hotel in the garden they had a small restaurant with good regional dishes.
They also have good wines with it.
Nicely prepaired and cosy. Nice staff.
Here you will also have your breakfast inside or outside.

Just a short distance from the accommodation, there is a stunning loop trail along the Levada do Moinho and Levada Nova. This house is a perfect base to explore Madeira!

The villa exceeded my expectations and Maderia is beautiful.
The villa exceeded my expectations and Maderia is beautiful. One week isn’t enough ,we had to Jam Pack everything in and still there were areas we didn’t have time for. Will definitely be coming back but for longer.

Beyond expectations, the village was quaint with a surprise around every corner through historical buildings, scenic verandas of banana trees, waterfalls, tunnels and street art everywhere. Beautiful restaurants, a fantastic beach for a swim and deep snorkel experience and welcoming residents.

The location was very good and it made it eadsy to reach our highlights during our stay in Madeira. Altough it is not a central location it is very reachable . The area is very quite and clean. The morning sunrise and evening sunsets were just wonderful.

The scenic Levada do Moinho/Nova is located in Ponta do Sol itself, and varied trails nearby cater to all fitness levels, from challenging Rabaçal hikes to leisurely Levada dos Cedros strolls. Ponta do Sol's tranquil atmosphere, lovely beach, restaurants, and relaxed pace allow for post-hike relaxation. The sunny climate enhances levada walks, and the town provides ample hotels, amenities, and tour operators. For a Madeira levada trip, Ponta do Sol's location, trails, atmosphere, and climate make it an ideal base.

The village was delightful, we stayed a short car ride away.
The village was delightful, we stayed a short car ride away. It was accessed through a tunnel which was too long to walk through comfortably.
We can recommend ‘The Old Pharmacy’ for lovely meals, particularly brunch.

It's got the best weather on the island.
It's got the best weather on the island. It's far enough away from the hustle & bustle /crowds & traffic of Funchal, but close enough to everything to access the sights. It was more peaceful here and homey. We really loved our hotel (Zino's Palace).

A good sized apartment and value for money. It was comfortable and well equipped. In a good location for accessing all parts of the island in a car. The beds were very comfortable. The television and Bluetooth speaker were good quality and easy to use. The washing machine was a plus. The underground garage and lift were very useful. The crockery was beautiful and top quality, a pleasure to use. The village of Ponta do Sol was delightful, it was reached through a tunnel so by car.

Really excellent hotel with small, friendly team of staff. The South coast location meant that it was generally sunny here even when it was rainy or foggy further inland. Nice restaurant and excellent breakfast. Quite a calm vibe with mostly couples or older family groups staying. Pool area always had space. Ponta do Sol village has a few different food options and is convenient for the main ring road and day trips around the island. Would return and recommend.

The house is very nice as was our room and bathroom. The view from the entrance of the house is lovely. The breakfast room is very nice too. Staff were friendly. Nice town at the bottom of the mountain, Ponta do Sol (where we thought the hotel actually was!) We had several lovely meals there.

Bed was comfortable, clean accomodation, easy check-in and out of the place. Not so far from restaurants and supermarkets. Easy access to the main roads so no problem if driving from Funchal. Ponta do Sol is a nice area in general to stay in Madeira.
