The apartment is located in the back of Oporto's Cathedral, in the heart of UNESCO World Heritage area, with an amazing view to the Douro river from all the windows os the flat. It's a great choice and location if you want to know the city on foot! The flat confortably accommodates six guests and has two bedrooms - one with a king size bed (160x200) and another with two single beds (90x200) and a closet. The living and dining room is equipped with a sofa-bed for two, a table for six persons, tv with 135 channels and a stereo system. The bathroom has a bathtub and the kitchen is equipped so that you can embrace your culinary adventures! Guests have at their disposal linens, towels, shampoo, shower gel, wifi throughout the apartment and a equipped kitchen. The house also has a crib so the young ones can sleep more comfortably. It also has a dishwasher and washing machine and ironing board and iron available to guests, as well as all the amenities necessary to assure that you have a pleasant stay. At your arrival there will be a welcome drink waiting for you to start your stay in Porto the best way possible! :)

I was born in Porto and I think this is the most beautiful place in the world to live in. The flat is in a iconic restored building, situated in "Escadas do Barredo", is situated among the most interesting and authentic area of the city, where around every corner you will find a point of historical and tourist interest. Place of genuine and hospitable people, you will get to know the truest and picturesque side of town. "Bairro do Barredo" is, if not the most, one of the most autentic and beautiful neighborhoods of the city. Just some steps away you have the "Ribeira Square" with great reaturants, wine bars, and local shops. Situated 650 meters from the train station and metro S. Bento, with links to the airport and all important points of the city and of the country. The connection to the airport takes about 30 minutes (buy a Z4 title). Located just 50 meters from the Elevator da Ribeira (only open during the weekdays) you can reach the Praça da Ribeira in a quick, convenient and unique way, escaping the stairs that surround the house in all directions. From the house to the Cathedral are about 70 steps, in one of the most authentic streets of the city! The area disposes of some free parking and is very quiet, with little car traffic.
