WELCOME TO YOUR AZORIAN NEST! Hello we are Deborah & Davide, an italian-brazilian young couple and the Handmade House is our dream come true. We bought this property and renovated it all with our own hands. It took us more or less 10months to finish the works and to create our own personal nest to be shared with travellers. Now we are waiting a new family member: small Diego is coming! :)

The Handmade House is in the northern coast of São Miguel Island, in Porto Formoso's tea valley, right next to Gorreana Tea Plantation. Our strategic and central position, between Furnas and Lagoa do Fogo, makes it the perfect place to stay to explore the beauties of São Miguel, which can be easily reached from 5 to 25 mins by car. Our guest house is in front of a protected marine area and has a garden overlooking the valley, the sea and a nearby forest. THE HOUSE The house is 278sqm and has a 300sqm garden with view over the sea and Porto Formoso's Valley. The house has private spaces of exclusive use of our guests (bedrooms and bathrooms) and shared spaces to be used with other guests (garden, kitchen, dining room and patio area).
