Lidhem is one of the few places where you can find silence. Of course it is not completely silent, luckily we can hear sounds of birds, bumblebees, streams, the wind and laughter. And it is not just quiet here. It is really dark at night and without major roads or industry in the surroundings the air is really fresh! Lidhem is a beautiful, stress-free and child-friendly place. There is much to experience for people of different ages with different interests. We offer countryside comfort: good beds (partly Hästens) and personal service in an intimate setting. Important information: We want to offer a quiet environment for both old and young, so we do not allow more people (including babies) than the maximum that is indicated in the booking system. Lidhem is only 20 car minutes away from the town of Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World. Lidhem, located in the northeastern part of Vimmerby, has a very rich history whose traces are still left in the landscape. The landscape reminiscent of Astrid Lindgren's stories, and Linnaeus' travels. Hilly and wooded with many lakes and red houses with white trim. The area is ideal for exploring on foot, by bike or car. Sometimes it seems as if time has stood still here. We really like to work and live here and to share this experience with our guests.
