There are lots of interesting places to visit in and around the farm. The are the Siljan lakes with boating and the wooden horse factory. The copper mines in Falin. A variety of mushrooms growing in the forests also Lingon blueberries and many other berries. Lots of beautiful wild flowers growing everywhere. A bear farm in Orsa. A bison farm 6 kilometres away. We are right on the Dalälvan river where you can swim or take a boat ride. There are many horse riding farms nearby and an Alpaca Farm. Late August and September for 8 weeks is crayfish season. The boats go out at 5 pm and at 8 am pull in the nets. There are busses on week days. Trains to Hedamore and Avesta. Shuttle bus. We are 8 kilometres from the nearest railway station. Avesta Krylbo and Hedamore and 2 kilometres from the main road. We can arrange to collect from the train station at 400 krona and take you shopping. A small private airfield near at Rembo on the farm. There are many restaurants.. Rembosturgen Restaurant is 2 kilometres away. In Avesta there is the Kings Arms, 6 kilometres away with about six other good restaurants. H
