This place feels like a home away from home. 6 of us were based here for a week as we explored the nearby archeological sites. We got to know the staff and had quite a few meals here, and were very comfortable. Delightful breakfast, lots of options. Particularly loved the made to order omelettes as well as the local options that changed each day. Lovely pool/sauna area as well, and one member of our group made use of the massages and said they were fantastic!

The hotel is near the ibrahim cave and fish pond. But I just dont like when I check out they asked to paid cash in euro. I said I paid with credit card they said they dont have credit machine. And when I paid in cash they dont gave receipt, we had to fight with the hotel owner, then only I got my receipt.

Perfect location just a short walk away from historical areas, museums and bazaar. Really enjoyed our stay, breakfast was like a small banquet. Staff were lovely. A highlight to see-We walked about 15 mins to the front of the archeology museum to catch a bud to gobleki tepe the oldest temple in the world.

I liked everything. Wow, what a location! A lovely environment nestled within the busy streets of Urfa. The staff are just fantastic and cater to everything you may require. The price is very fair and the service you get far exceeds what you’re paying.

We were offered a wonderfully varied Turkish breakfast with lots of local food choices. The breakfast area, rooms and coutyard are very pleasant spaces. The beds and bed linen were extremely comfortable. Staff were very helpful when asked for help getting places especially when we used the translation app. The hotel is close to Balikgol and the bazaar.

The location: We loved the fact that we were in the old city with its narrow roads and courtyard houses. Getting to Balikligo and the main market area was a less than 10 min walk.
The staff: Bariș was super helpful right from the get go, helping us get a driver for our Gobekli Tepe visit, arranging for some basic breakfast at 0615 when we had to leave for our flight and with some great suggestions for where to eat.
The hotel itself: I've always loved a courtyard style home/hotel, and Kaliruha is exactly that. We visited at the end of winter, so the courtyard felt a little bare, but it must be quite beautiful in spring

What a surprise! I came for Göbeklitepe but could have spent days roaming the maze of historic Old Town and the market areas. Unfortunately, all the museums are still closed after last year's earthquakes but there's still a plethora of historic buildings and attractions to enjoy. The local foods were incredible and local people very eager to interact with a visitor - even if only through Google Translate.

Sanliurfa is a large city.
Sanliurfa is a large city. I stayed in the historical center. One day is needed to learn to find your way around, among the nice narrow streets, the larger avenues. As I like walking 10 km per day , I did not make use of taxis and buses. Good shoes are required ! Anyway, taxis are everywhere, and buses are frequent (every 5 minutes ). For walking further away to touristical places like Göbeklitepe, Karahantepe, Harran, Halfeti, etc. : organized tours, buses or private accomodation .
Meals during the day, in many restaurants, or in shopping centers, all cheap, with fresh traditional food. Just not easy to get vegetarian meals, but many recipes are meat free (pide with cheese, or spinach, pizza with vegetables, for example, soups, shepherd's salad...).
season is very important : avoid Sanliurfa in full summer if you don-t like yoo hot ! sme tourists leave the city after 1-2 days because they were not aware of the temepratures... so have a close look to monthly temperature charts before choosing your period .

I'm so glad we added Urfa to our itinerary.
I'm so glad we added Urfa to our itinerary. It was very different from the other places we visited on our trip (Istanbul, Izmir, Göreme, Denizli, Kaş). It felt much more traditional and less cosmopolitan, but the people we interacted with were just as friendly, and we felt just as safe as we had in other parts of the country. There is a lot to see and do in the area. The archaeological museum is not to be missed; standing in their full-sized replica of Göbeklitepe felt magical. We appreciated having a rental car, to be able to drive down to Harran on our own. It seems that there is less English spoken in this part of the country than in Istanbul (e.g. in the restaurants and in the market), so it helps to have the Google Translate app with the Turkish dictionary downloaded ahead of time for offline use.

This is an amazing place.
This is an amazing place. Easy to believe you are close to the cradle of civilisation. Within walking distance you have a large Necropolis, 2 fabulous museums ( the ticket for one gives access to the other ) a great Eastern style bazzar, Abrahams birth cave, holy lake, a castle, Gobekli Tepe and much much more.

The archaeological museum was excellent and the mosaic...
The archaeological museum was excellent and the mosaic museum was also good. The historic Islamic architecture in the centre was very interesting. And the Gobekli Tepe archaeological site outside of town was fascinating.
However, I wouldn’t rate the local food as anything really special.
This hotel is a converted old house. The place is maintained very well. Baz the manager is very helpful. He helped us arrange trips to Mount Nemrut and Gobekli Tepe. The location is quite decent. It's in a narrow lane so the taxi will not reach there. You will need to wheel your luggage for a couple of minutes to get to the hotel. The breakfast spread is huge and served in the courtyard of the hotel. The room was large and comfortable. This was one of the nicest hotels in our trip to Turkey.
Hasan and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Especially Umat (18 year old staff member) and Hasan. They met all of our expectations and we loved it there. Its a beautiful location. With so much history, within the hotel itself. The kids loved it, my whole family loved it. Location was amazing. Thank you so much for the best stay! We will definitely come again. Recommended to everyone.
The hotel is beautiful! You feel welcomed immediately! The hotel is in very good conditions and clean! The rooms are comfortable so you can rest peacefully after a long day of activities! The location is key, is near from the center so you can go walking to several touristic places! The staff is nice, they contact you to have a smooth check and the breakfast is delicious! Recommended!
Location- this place is a small hotel (konagi) located in Urfa old town. It is a walking distance to the castle, archaeology museum, sacred pool and bazaar.
Spacious- our room is 102, located on the ground floor. It can fit 3 people as it has 1 big bed (twin mattress combined) and 1 single bed.
Heater-- sufficient to warm up the room and self control.
The hotel is in the very center of Sanliurfa. You can also park in the parking lot right next to the hotel. The property is a 400-year-old Ottoman buidling with only five rooms.
The staff, Fuat, is very friendly and tries his best to help and communicate with us. The owner is also very kind and pleasant. Great people.
Staying in Konak has exceeded my expectations., starting from the architecture of the building, the cleanliness and the staff engaged in the hotel. During the stay all the staff made me feel at home so I recommend if you travel to Sanliurfa stay in HAYATLI and be convinced of what I say.
Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience - we liked everything from our quiet and cozy room to a great Turkish breakfast at the patio. Staff is exceptional and made us feel as proper guests.
The hotel is really close to the bazaar, numerous restaurants and main sites of Urfa.
this hotel is exceptional in service .every body do anything to make you happy . they don’t say No every thing they do for you if they can . close to everything . very satirical style building but full facilities . very close parking space .
The hotel is really well located. The room was clean and nice. Musa was very nice and helpful. He helped us with everything. He arranged us to rent a car and recommended some nice programs. The best choice in Sanliurfa:)
The room and hotel is great, very fitting to the stone architecture of the city. And the staff was really helpful, kind and attentive, super welcoming! So I really can only say good things
A very nice warm welcome!
The hotel is beautiful.
All the staff from the management down are so kind and helpful.
Thanks to Abdul Salam Faruk Mehve Ameer and Wehdet the Owner!
Wonderful breakfast. Water and fruit for free in the afternoon. Parking near included in the price, ask for a ticket at the hotel (no way to find a place in the. street)
Very good location in old beautiful mansion, parking included in price, helpful staff, quite good breakfest. Maybe not real 5 star but anyway it's a very good hotel.
We love its cleanliness, helpfull staffs, small boutique hotel in the main street but not noisy at all. Easy access to supermarket, places to eat, etc.
