民宿主人，現任邵族的巴洛爸洛竭誠歡迎大家來到日月潭，欣賞日月潭陸海空的各式美景，也體驗邵族人的熱情與生活樂趣。
民宿主人也有經營自己的伊達邵農場，隨著季節會有不同的農產品熟成，幸運的您，有機會體驗四季不同作物的採收或加工，也一起感受日月潭四不同的美。每年四、五月為螢火蟲季，民宿就坐落在螢火蟲秘境裡，推開房門，小心被螢火蟲撞到唷！
相傳邵族祖先，在追逐一隻白鹿時，無意間來到了日月潭，發現周遭風光明媚且資源豐富，是個可讓子孫世代生存的地方，於是舉族搬遷於此。
邵族的社會組織採取氏族分工，各司其職，高氏擅長傳統歌謠舞蹈，並擔任農耕祭儀及祖靈祭儀的職務，巴洛爸洛（baluo baluo），就是祭儀中的領唱長老。
