In a diverse neighborhood, there are great foodie options to explore! 8 min walk to Lancaster Brewing Co., 10 min drive to Amish country, 3 min drive to Central Market. Bedroom #1: Queen bed, twin size futon. Bedroom #2: Queen bed. Private office: Desk and chair, strong WIFI for working/learning On-street parking, with street cleaning 1st and 3rd Mondays and Tuesdays.

I am a middle school art teacher, part time group fitness instructor, wife, and mom of a five year old boy. I love traveling and seeing new places, and have spent time living in three different countries besides the U.S. I have been to India, China, Japan, Thailand, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Italy, Spain, Egypt, Morocco, the democratic republic of Congo, Kenya, and more. I have stayed in many homes around the world! I also enjoy visiting places close to my New York home. One of the first BnB’s that I stayed in was in Lancaster, PA, back in 2013. I immediately fell in love with the area. As an artist, there is nothing like getting inspiration from nature, people watching, antiques, and local flavor! Lancaster delivers all of the above and more! I find it a great spot to enjoy time with my little family and I am lucky enough to now own a vacation home where I can share that same joy and love for the area with others. We are on the outskirts of the city-our neighborhood tends to be more quiet. However, since this is a city rowhome, we do share walls with our neighbors- you may hear them occasionally. We have a few great places to eat not too far away! If you enjoy walking, it is a little over a mile to get to the downtown area. If you prefer to drive downtown, parking garages and street parking are available once you are there. Amish attractions are a 10 minute drive.
