From the first moment I stepped foot onto our property, at A Barn at the Quarry, I fell in love with it. It is such a peaceful and serene property with spectacular views of Texas Wine Country that go on for miles. On any given day you are likely to see whitetail deer, axis, armadillos, and hawks, as well as, our very friendly welcoming team of animals that live on the property and love to interact with the guests. We focus on quality over quantity, making sure that you have everything you need during your stay, including a welcoming bottle of wine, a coffee and tea station, a cowboy kitchen with fridge, microwave, toaster oven, snacks, a continental breakfast in your room that you can heat up at your leisure, a steamer, a blow dryer and a complimentary treat bag to feed the animals (a llama, 2 mini donkeys and Oreo cow) that live on the property.

A Barn at the Quarry is located in Fredericksburg, Texas wine country. Our unique Bed & Breakfast cabins and hilltop 4 bedroom rental home are nestled in a rural pasture surrounded by walking lanes and abundant wildlife with mountain and hilltop views that go on for miles. We offer romantic and restful interludes for couples and a fun place for couples & groups to gather together without crowding one another when they rent the whole property. Out here there is no need to rush to breakfast! We feature an in room continental breakfast consisting of Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, waffles, cinnamon rolls, and a homemade sausage pastry puff that you can heat up at your leisure. We also offer a coffee and tea station in each room, along with orange juice and Ocean Spray cranberry juice. So take your time and enjoy the slow pace of country life... wineries don't open until 11 a.m. anyway. The atmosphere and set up of the patio and private porches allow for privacy when traveling individually as couples, as well as, gathering in larger groups and romantic retreats. Our Bed and Breakfast is centrally located being only 2 miles from Bankersmith, 3 miles from Grapetown Vineyards, 11 miles to Marketplatz, 7 miles to Luchenbach, 9 miles to Fiesta, Pedernales, Armadillo's Leap, Six Shooter Cellars and Vintage Cellars wineries in the Rocky Hill Plaza. We sit on 11 beautiful acres of meadow land hill country fields landscaped naturally with great live oaks and pecan trees. Country roads are frequently one lane roads and driving Texas farm friendly is a must. It is recommended that one keeps speeds at or below 30 miles per hour and use turn offs to allow oncoming traffic to meet you safely. This is the habitat for many white tail deer, axis, turkeys, raccoon, squirrel, hawks. Please be considerate of the wildlife and they will surprise you with many pleasant sightings during your stay.
