Hello happy travelers! We are Owen and Kristin, and we love our job of creating magical retreats for our guests to stay and relax in. Owen is a former contractor and I am an Alaska Airlines flight attendant, and both are real estate brokers. We pride ourselves on creating a rewarding experience for all of our guests. We buy (or help our clients buy) unique properties all around the PNW. We then remodel these homes to chic faux-rustic design. All the way through sourcing furniture and stocking shelves the process goes on. We love family, skiing, hiking, traveling, gardening, photography and searching for new properties to renovate. Our adventure started 10 years ago as house flippers and helping our clients do the same. Things took a turn when we completed our 3 cabin remodels. The plan was to finish and sell them so we could roll into other flips, but the night before listing, while sitting around the campfire, we decided to roll the dice and keep the cabins and turn them into Vacation Rentals. This fully remodeled A-frame sanctuary offers a spacious and comfortable stay. Upstairs, you'll find two inviting bedrooms, each equipped with air-conditioning, large skylights, and a woodsy view. The bedrooms feature plush queen beds, sitting areas, and ample natural light. A full bath upstairs is conveniently located between the bedrooms, while a second full bath is situated on the main level. The living room boasts high-end leather couches, overstuffed chairs, and a cozy wood-burning fireplace. Enjoy the views of the woods and deck while relaxing in this inviting space, which also features a smart TV for entertainment. Adjacent to the fully equipped open concept kitchen is a dining area with a custom-built live edge dining table, offering a unique and stylish setting. Large windows throughout the A-frame allow the fresh forest air to permeate the space, creating a truly immersive experience. Step outside onto the deck, furnished with teak furniture, and relax while enjoying happy hour and taking in the serene woods view. For ultimate relaxation, indulge in the wonderful hot tub, perfect for soaking after a day of activities. Keep an eye out for abundant deer and squirrels on the property, adding to the natural beauty of the surroundings. The side yard features beautiful landscaping, adorned with string lights and path lights, guiding your way to the custom-built firepit area. This cozy space, adorned with flagstone, rock walls, and ferns, provides the ideal ambiance for your gatherings!

We invite you to enjoy the comfort, beauty, and tranquility of our Bellingham retreat. Quiet nice woodsy neighborhood with large lots. This home backs up to private woods and has lots of privacy. Close to Bellingham, 100's of miles of trails, Sudden Valley market, Tino's pizza, Sudden valley golf, Marina, Lake Whatcom, Lake Louise, Galbraith Mountain Mountain Biking, Lookout Mountain, and Fairhaven. We have excellent parking right in front for up to 3 cars. We want to ensure that you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. 1) All your information for directions, check-in, house information, codes, check-out instructions will be emailed to you 2 days prior to your arrival. 2) If you plan to bring your furry friend, we welcome them with open arms and have a maximum of two dogs allowed per stay with a fee per pup per night. This fee is added post booking. No cats are allowed. To avoid any confusion, please include your dog in the reservation. Please note that we kindly ask you to not allow dogs on the furniture, beds, or in the sleeping loft. 3) We do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs. Please do not arrive early, or stay past check-out. The cleaners will be there by 11 AM. If the cabin is ready before the standard 4 PM time, our team will message you. The cabin is usually booked back to back with every guest deserving a fully cleaned and presented cabin :) 4) We do recommend that you bring a couple bundles of dry firewood and kindling for that great fire in the fireplace and firepit. 5) AllTrails is a great resource for your local hikes and excursions. 6) Weather forecast for your planning should be Sudden Valley Washington. 7) Closest gas, grocery, firewood, restaurant, coffee, and bars is 5 minutes down the hill to Sudden Valley Market and Deli, Tino's Pizza, and El Agave.
