There isn’t a thing about Cambria Shores in that we don’t love. This is about our 10th stay there…. And we will be back of course. It was our little getaway from Santa Barbara. There’s no reason to get away from Santa Barbara unless it’s the Cambria Shores Inn.Nothing could’ve been better except I like almost green bananas and the banana was ripe… And the breakfast just the way anybody else would like it. So I don’t have one thing to possibly complain about… I love everything about Cambria Shores Inn.

Everything about this place was wonderful from the moment we checked in. They provide vouchers for a free glass of wine right next door, practically on the inn's property. I put "not applicable" on the free wifi because I didn't use it, but it did exist - same goes for breakfast. Unfortunately, we had to leave bright and early, just as they were bringing around the charming breakfast baskets. The coffee was fabulous, though. I'm sure the breakfast was just as wonderful as the accommodations. The bed was super comfortable, the room well-appointed, and the location *two thumbs up* Be sure to walk a couple of doors down to Sea Chest Oyster Bar. It's one of our favorite Cambria restaurants, especially for the oysters. It is CASH ONLY, though. Oh, and the grounds, AKA landscaping, were beautiful.

My sister and her little pooch joined me to see the wildflower bloom at Carrizo Plain. It was a 1 1/2 drive, but worth the trip. The breakfast was good, a yogurt would have made it perfect. Plus a sharp knife in the kitchen!

The breakfast basket was wonderful the the right amount for a light breakfast. The room has a coffee maker in it and the location is BEST as you can hear the ocean and see the water. We have been coming up to this location for over 40 years.
