Hi there! We're native Oregonians in a family of 7 with 14 grandchildren and counting. Coming from a large family hosting is native to us and we love it! We hope you feel cozy and welcomed in our home as we invite you to be our guest. Lonny and I first built our home 20 years ago and his love for building and mine for interior design of homes has taken us to where we are now. Because we are in the business of hospitality for local and international guests, we take a lot of pride and care in what we do and hope you'll feel this love reflected at each of our properties. Pet Policy: We are glad to host your pets/animals too in the three bedroom unit ONLY. There is a pet fee for dogs. Any other pets/and or animals will be considered on a case by case basis- please inquire. We ask for compliance in a few house rules: * Do NOT invite them onto the furniture so we can keep it in great condition for all who are to come! * DO NOT allow them into the bedrooms. Keeping the doors closed will make this easy. We just replaced the carpets in many locations and want to keep them fresh and pet smell free. *We encourage you to bring your pets favorite bedding and blankets to prevent marking or nervous accidents. Trust us, they do happen! * Please keep them on wood flooring, use the baby gates provided or close bedroom doors to ensure compliance. * Let me know if you do not have extra bedding for them, I will provide it to you. *The bathroom tub or showers are for humans only. *When taking your pet out to the bathroom, please pick up after them. Other guests will greatly appreciate your taking responsibility for this. *Lastly, please do NOT Leave them alone unkenneled. We offer Rover service , if you are going to be gone and cannot take your animal or kennel them. Let us know and we can arrange it!m, I will provide it to you.

***Please read! There are two different units in this home, the main floor and upstairs is our 3 bedroom apartment, the downstairs basement is our 2 bedroom apartment. You may select both if you'd like the entire left side. Dogs are ONLY allowed in the 3 bedroom apartment. No pets in the 2 bedroom basement unit. Pet Policy is in About the Host. Never stay in a hotel again! These apartments are well appointed with popular fun boho décor. Great for business travel, families, friend reunions, or vacation getaways. Our 3 bedroom apartment comes with everything you could need including ALL king beds! With a beautiful spacious living room, a full kitchen to cook all your meals in, and a separate dining area this apartment can be yours today. Comprising of two full bathrooms with tub/shower combos, we provide hair dryers, towels, wash cloths, even body wash and shampoo. Stay in for a movie night or take a stroll downtown Albany where you're close to all the action. Plenty of free parking is available both on the street and in the driveway. Our 2 bedroom apartment, comes with a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen bed in the second, this unit is so much larger than just a hotel room. The spacious bathroom has a tub and shower combo along with a large vanity to put all your toiletries in. Complete with a microwave and coffee maker, this is a "Heat and Eat" apartment which also boasts a mini fridge. This unit is partial below grade, with lots of daylight windows that bring in tons of natural light. The entrance is on the left side of the home, halfway down the path. You'll see your private entrance with a keypad for your convenience and self check-in. This beautiful historic home has gone through major renovations to provide you with all the comforts for a great stay! Because noise tends to travel so well in these gorgeous homes, we've tried to soundproof to the best of our abilities. Please be aware if the upstairs unit is rented you may still hear some noise.

Downtown Albany is a unique and historic place. You will see many cute shops, boutiques, and antique stores. The antiquity of the historic downtown is what makes it special. Being very walkable, you are free to park your car and explore the 100's of shops, restaurants, museums, live theaters, and the historical Carousel and Museum. With the Willamette river nearby, Monteith River-park is home to summer's River Rhythm concert series.
