The castle-type observatories make this house perfect for sunsets, full moon rises, and stargazing.

We are 4th generation Colorado natives. We met and grew up on the Front Range and then married and moved to the high cold mountains for 25 years. I worked as a librarian and Bob as a plow operator and low-boy driver. We started dreaming about living in the beautiful, warm area known as the Western Slope. Our goal is to provide our guests with the best possible service, attention to detail, an amazing breakfast, providing you with a simple, hassle-free and comfortable lodging during your stay. We are very familiar with this area and can lead you into the popular places or the undiscovered gems of this unique, special area known as the Grand Valley.

The town of Palisade has many agricultural businesses offering a great opportunity to learn firsthand how fruit, wine, and farm products are grown from the ground up. Take your pick of tours: orchards and farms, vineyards and wineries, brewery or distillery. Indoor tours of wineries, distillery and brewery operations capture the craftsmanship of beverage –making. In addition, you can learn about lavender uses, milling alpaca wool, and hops processing. Enjoy the many fruit stands that have delicious ripe peaches and other fruits and vegetables and can show you how their products get from tree to table. The biggest draw is the many wineries with vineyards brimming with wine grapes. There are so many festivals here highlighting the products of our area. Palisade International Honeybee Festival, two Barrel-tastings, Brews and Cruise Festival, Bluegrass and Roots Festival, Lavender Festival, Peach Fest, Colorado Mountain Winefest, and the Quilt and Fiber Art Festival. The Fruit and Wine Byway, which goes right past the Dreamcatcher B&B, is very popular with bicyclists. Enjoy hiking, biking, rafting, golfing, skiing, snowmobiling and fishing are all close by.
