Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Please note there’s no pool on the actual property. There are pools all around the area though. Some are free but some you might have to pay a small admission fee. FYI just get to know the neighbors, most of them will let you in their pool for free. However, all the fun you can imagine is for free at the beach right behind the house. Whether you prefer tanning at the beach or being in the water. Bring your JetSki, wave-runner, rowboat, canoe, motorized boats, scuba gear, fishing rods or whatever else you desire. Enjoy water skiing, tubing, paragliding or anything else you desire. In winter, there’s much more than just ice-skating. You can also try playing hockey on the channel (only if the lake is frozen however please beware). Sledding is a big thing here in the winter time as well. There’s an outdoor fire pit in the backyard that you can use year round too. So many fun things to do here year round.
I hope you thoroughly enjoy this home. It’s actually the home I’ve known my entire life since I was born I lived in this house. It brought me many years of wonderful memories, and I hope it does the same for you. I’m a huge swimmer! Every summer I was at the lake from sun up until sundown. I grew up on Diamond Lake and became one of the best, fastest and strongest swimmers in all of Illinois. Won the state championships in high school and was destined to be a professional Olympic Water Polo player before I even graduated high school. I really hope my guests enjoy themselves while they’re here. If there’s anything you need, please feel free to reach out and I will accommodate you as best I can.
The neighbors here are all very friendly. If you’re friendly and want to make friends they’ll be happy to help accommodate that request. However, if you are the type that doesn’t wanna be bothered, they won’t bother you. There are 2 parks located within a half a mile. There is also 2 beaches that are privately owned by the neighborhood. One is less than a block away behind the house towards the lake. The 2nd is in the other part of the neighborhood that’s probably about a mile walk you could actually access it by swimming from one beach to the other. They are very comparable beaches. They are about the same really. There is no room for parking a vehicle down at the beach though so please note you will have to walk but again it’s very close by you’ll notice in the summertime you see people buzzing around in golf carts constantly and they’re usually on their way to the beach or coming from the beach. Watersport are a very popular here. They actually also even put a ramp in to jump while you’re on water skis. Some people also put huge trampolines on the water which people are more than happy to share. Just please get permission from the owner first for liability & insurance reasons.
