Come Stay in the perfect location for all things Mena. We are within walking distance to everything downtown and nestled at the foot of the famous Tahelmina Scenic Drive. Our Little Guesthouse has everything you need for a fantastic stay, including a full kitchen, BBQ, and a garden full of fresh herbs and vegetables! Check out our pictures for everything you can expect! We know the best eats, local haunts, hiking trails, swimming holes, and we love to help our guests plan their adventure!
I have a husband and 2 sons and we big are travel enthusiasts! (Our oldest son, Asher, who is 4, visited 8 countries before he was 9 months old, and our youngest son, Eden, visited 4 states before he was 3 weeks old!) We work from our computers, which allows us the freedom to travel and pursue our dreams. I am a music teacher with a degree in vocal performance and am AVID outdoors explorer! I love to run, hike, and explore, and try to get outside as much as I can! My little family loves adventure, meeting new people, exploring the world, and teaching everyone around us to live life to the fullest My husband, Son, and I often travel, so we may not always be in town. I am always only a phone call or text away, though, and if we are in town we are happy to help you with anything in person! All info (as well as our handmade specially designed "local guide") will be on location at the house, but any additional questions are welcome!
We are at the foot of the famous Talimena Scenic Drive and some of the best views Arkansas has to offer, as well as only 15 miles away from Wolf Pen Gap and all the ATV fun you can have. A few miles down the road is picturesque Lake Whilhelmina with fishing and water fun! To get the most out of our "mayberry town", you can visit our town center park, Jansen Park, only a 15-20 minute walk down historic main street, stop and get a delicious coffee at our cozy local coffee house "Suzy Q's", or eat some of the best homestyle biscuits and gravy you have ever had at our historic almost 100 year old diner,"Skyline Cafe"! All within walking distance of our place! Everything important in Mena is within 1 or 2 miles of our place. Public transport is pretty much non-existent, so having a vehicle is highly recommended.
