The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and expansive granite counterspace so that any five-star dinner can be made with ease. Treat the family to a dinner with a view around the 8-person dining table as the sun sets behind Bar Harbor. When the plates are cleared, bring a bottle of wine or two out to the screened-in porch for a relaxing evening under the star-filled skies. This property provides a perfect adventure without the drive! You'll have access to 5 kayaks for a day spent out exploring Mt Desert Narrows and Flanders Bay. If you prefer to admire the view from the shore, be sure to keep an eye out for the seals that often stop by and say hello - there are also a ton of bald eagles in the area! You'll have nearby access to dozens of trailheads to explore. Drive less than 20 minutes over to Schoodic Beach Mountain Trailhead to hike, or bring lunch along on a 30-minute drive to the scenic Schoodic Point for a picnic on the beach! Explore Flanders Bay with one of the provided kayaks, hit the trails at Acadia National Park, or take a walking tour of town and catch up on local history!
