And during the winter months, Saturday night fireworks can be viewed from the living room with your friends and family. You won't have to go far to experience the best of this mountain town, as Sunday River Resort is a half-mile away where you will find endless ski runs, wonderful local restaurants, hiking, and gear shops galore! When you want to venture out a bit further and have a change of scenery, downtown Bethel is seven miles south offering even more restaurants, shops, and grocery stores to stock up on necessities. While in town, be sure to check out The Gem Theater to catch a flick. If you are after even more outdoorsy fun, Grafton Notch State Park is also home to pristine trails, cross-country skiing, and fishing spots!
