Some FAQs: Can we cook at the cabin? Absolutely! We upgraded our kitchen with a new stainless-steel stove and oven and a large refrigerator. Besides stocking our kitchen with pots, pans, plates, glassware, utensils, a toaster, and a microwave, you'll also find salt, pepper, cooking oil, and several BBQ spices. Wait, there's more - wine glasses, cheese boards, knives, insulated mugs (great for the deck and the hot tub), and a cocktail bar set. Show off your grill master’s skills with our gas BBQ grill at the front deck. You’ll be grilling with one of the best ski slope views on the mountain. Did we mention we also provide Starbucks French Roast whole coffee beans and a coffee grinder to get the freshest aroma? Sugar, Splenda, creamer, and drip coffeemaker are all ready for you. Is the cabin good for children (or the inner children in adults)? Yes! While this cabin is great for a romantic getaway, we've also created a "Kid Kingdom" in the loft for kids or fun-loving adults to enjoy! - Teepee tent and camping kit for role-playing - Foosball table - Retro Nintendo console with over 600 games. - Board games, including the famous Bearopoly - Big Bear's own Monopoly game! - The National Forest is accessible from your backyard, and the official trailhead is only 2 blocks from the cabin. Plenty of trails for day hikes and picnics. Easy access to hiking, skiing, and the lake, then come back for nap! Is the cabin pet friendly? Yes, DreamyBear is pet friendly! We even provide a small dog bed, drinking bowls, a doggy towel, doggy poop bags, and a leash in case you forgot yours. Per city ordinance, please don't leave your pet unattended in the cabin while you're away. You will be fined. We do ask that you help us care for the cabin by not having pets on the furniture or beds and cleaning up after them in/outdoors so other guests with and without pets can also enjoy the place.
