Discover a quiet secluded guesthouse in quaint Sierra Madre, located next to Pasadena and Arcadia with gorgeous mountain views, a sparkling pool, patio area and mature gardens. 1 Main bedroom with sitting room, kitchenette, private bathroom and shower. Private entrance through gate at the end of driveway. Consider walking to the center of the village. Check out live theatre at the SIerra Madre Playhouse. VIsit the modern brewery on East Montecito and 100-year old Jam store E. Waldo Ward. at East Laurel. Bob Hope made the movie the Seven Little Foys at the Pinney House on Lima in the 1950's. Sierra Madre is world famous for the largest Wisteria vine in the world according to the Guiness Book of World Records.
Married couple, both retired Rotary Club presidents for Sierra Madre. Long time residents in community. Tom works in the biotech industry and his wife Julie is retired. UC Berkeley, Stanford GSB, and Purdue University graduates. Both are very active in the community and know Southern California very well.
A vibrant shopping area in downtown Sierra Madre around Kersting Court, Baldwin Avenue and Sierra Madre Blvd. Plenty of restaurant choices, pubs and bars in the area. Close to the Mount Wilson trailhead and the San Gabriel Mountains regional parks and shopping, Santa Anita racetrack, Arboraetum Botanical garden in Arcadia and the Norton Simon Museum, Caltech, Rose Bowl and Huntington Gardens in Pasadena, roughly 12 mins away. LAX Los Angeles Airport is roughly 43 miles away and can take 55 mins - 1hr -15 mins depending on traffic. Burbank BUR is located 20.6 miles away.
