The decor and design of the hotel was very cute. The beds were comfortable and there's plenty of parking. We appreciated the free coffee and tea station in the lobby.

Stowe.... a skiers paradise.
Stowe.... a skiers paradise. Cute downtown area, awsome skiing. Nice apres ski options. My wife and I attempt to visit every winter. The town offers a good variety of eateries, resturants stores etc. One tip though... try to book a hotel that offers breakfast. I honestly could not offer a recommendation on a sit down resterant for breakfast. Just my opinion.

Very small town. Grocery store is small and pricey.
Very small town. Grocery store is small and pricey. Shops are very pricey but lots of homemade items and boutique type places. Food is really good at the restaurants. Everyone is really friendly. Will I be back probably not, but not because it was bad just very slow paced not for me. Definitely out of a hallmark movie though!

You have to try jalapeno cheddar pancakes with maple syrup...
You have to try jalapeno cheddar pancakes with maple syrup and hollandaise sauce at the Butler's Pantry. Alchemist brewery is a must stop and Von Trapp Brewery and lodge grounds deserve a visit. Great place in the winter, if you like winter sports. But with all the natural beauty, it is worth a visit any time a year. Fall foliage is awesome to see in this area.

We love Stowe.
We love Stowe. We have been here many times starting over 50 years ago on our honeymoon!! The character of the town is just wonderful. This year they had a Halloween parade with the children of the town all dressed up!! It was charming! We will definitely be back!!

Stowe is adorable.
Stowe is adorable. The reputation it has as a fall foliage destination is well deserved. The little downtown is adorable and very walkable, the traffic wasn't great but we were able to find parking relatively easily. If visiting from out of town, you're going to want a rental car since many of the attractions are spaced miles apart. There are a ton of great food-related things to try near by. We really enjoyed the sugar houses (we saw Bragg Farm and Goodrich's Maple Farm and recommend them both - about 40ish minutes out of town), Cold Hollow Cider Mill, Cabot cheese shop, and Ben and Jerry's factory. We stopped at but didn't stay at the Trapp Family Lodge, which was well worth seeing. We did try the Trapp Kaffeehaus (which also serves their beer) which was great. If you like hard cider we also recommend Stowe Cider.

A quaint town set in the most picturesque location.
A quaint town set in the most picturesque location. The shops were attractive and there were plenty of places to eat. The nearby Von Trapp Family Lodge is well worth a visit. There is lots to do in the summer and the winter but we had not realised that most attractions and roads to mountain peaks would be closed from mid October until the ski season starts so we were caught in the middle of this time and had less open for our visit.
Comfortable bed, lots of space for the two of us. I liked that you could separate the suite by closing the bedroom door. If someone wanted to lounge on the sofa and watch TV, they could do so while someone slept in the bedroom.
It was also nice to have a TV in each room should folks have varied tastes in programs.
The bathroom and the rooms in general were very clean. The hotel was close to town ( 7 minutes by car), which made it a quiet spot with plenty of available parking.
The location is excellent, right in the heart of beautiful Stowe, on the Main Street. The hotel is beautiful, spread out over few buildings in a village style. Room was very good, spacious, comfortable bed ( we stayed in Kingsize room with fireplace and in room jacuzzi and made good use of both). On site restaurant, Whip, was very good. Afternoon tea and cookies on a beautiful glassed in veranda or by the fireplace in hotel’s sitting area we’re a delight.
We loved how accessible it is using the shuttle , food options at town was plenty and great
The hotel staff were catering to our needs , rooms were in good size with microwave and kettle for coffee
The sauna indoor pool and hot tub were a great addition apres ski and kids game area made it easy for my kid to meet other kids and enjoy his time
Food options at the hotel were excellent for a quick bite if you dont feel like leaving the hotel
The motel is nicely situated, somewhat on the outskirts of Stowe, surrounded by beautiful nature yet still close to a few restaurants and bars.
The room had a little kitchenette, a strong AC, and a somewhat dated bathroom with good water pressure.
Everything seemed very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a scenic ride on the free bikes up the Stowe rec path.
We were travelling with our baby of 8 months and our little dog. It was a nice place close to everything in Stowe. Clean and spacious. Even had a charging station for our electric car directly on the parking lot of the motel (extra fee with a Charge point charging station). The pool was heated and very clean :) It's a dog friendly motel.
Kim and Phil, the hosts of Little River Inn are amazing. They took care of every need and the breakfasts, homemade every morning, are delicious. The lounge are with a tv, books and ample games was a perfect place to spend our evenings after a day of skiing. The hotel is right on the shuttle so very convenient as well.
Breakfast is poor for this hotel category.
Room is very nice with comfortable beds.
Reservation was for a room for three people. The room was prepared for two people. It took more than an hour and two complaints to receive the missing glass, cup, and towels. The third robe was not provided.
The hotel is super charming and located in a great location right next to the Stowe recreational path. The sauna and swimming pool facilities were great. The staff were all friendly and really helpful. The filtered water refill station is much appreciated!
Terrific location on free shuttle to Stowe. Beautiful in winter or summer. Pet friendly with lovely access to river just outside your room. Includes free breakfast, hot tub & indoor pool
Great recently refurbished hotel, super friendly accommodating staff and the room was gorgeous, great amenities. Also perfect location for walking into Stowe for a meal in the evening.
Perfect location between Stowe and the ski slopes. Clean, comfy and warm rooms. Julian was extremely helpful with knowledge of the area, really pleasant and friendly person.
the room was overall all right for the rate charged; this was only one of the 2-3 hotels in Stowe where they could accomodate dogs at a reasonable rate !!! Thank you!
