This property is ideally located in close proximity to facilities around the Heavenly Gondola station. Some of the largest bedrooms we have ever stayed in and designed in a modern minimalistic style. The staff were remarkably friendly with nothing too much trouble. We had a couple of complimentary drinks and nightly s’mores which were a great touch. Free coffee on a morning and a happy hour 3 to 6pm. Loads of free parking. Can’t speak highly enough about this hotel. Great to see a black bear wandering around the location, ignoring people whilst rummaging in bins for food.

Greatly exceeded my expectations. Room large, spotless with numerous nice touches (e.g. lip balm, heat lamps in shower, excellent shower, bicycle use, free drink at the bar and other complimentary items, comfortable bed, room size and layout) and a really relaxed, friendly and helpful staff. The whole place has such a good vibe. I have travelled in many countries over the years and stayed in some of the finest hotels in the world, but the Coachmen was one of the nicest hotel stays I can remember; it got most of the basics right. If only all hotels were like this.

Hotel in a lovely location where you could walk to the centre of South Lake Tahoe and to the lake itself (Private beach which is fenced off but access voucher’s available from reception) Hotel was modern and clean with lovely facilities. Had a swimming pool, boules court, outside fire pits and seating, small kitchen are attached to lobby. Also had curtesy push bikes available to hire.

Very trendy place, the outdoor fire and seating is absolutely lovely to hangout during happy hour and meet new people. There is free coffee every morning for you to grab and they have selection of nibbles to purchase or a little package for smores that you can use on the open fire outside. We had a lovely spacious room and the bed was very comfortable.
