Bob and Cathy grew up in the Toledo, OH area and dated for a short time during the 60’s. After high school, they went their separate ways, completing their degrees, raising their families, and happily reconnecting 40 years later. Cathy will tell you that Bob was her first love. Bob says that their love is timeless. Bob, an adventurer at heart, spent many years driving cross country as a household goods mover while Cathy remained close to her hometown, traveling locally and globally for work and pleasure. It is rare to meet a guest from a hometown that Bob or Cathy have not visited. In their free time, Bob and Cathy enjoy playing cards and board games and welcome the opportunity for a friendly game with guests. Cathy’s lifelong dream has been to host a B&B and, in 2016, Bob surprised her with the gift of The Grand Kerr House. Bob and Cathy look forward to your stay!

Welcome to The Grand Kerr House. This immaculate well-maintained 7,000 square foot Queen Anne Home is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings and remains virtually unchanged since it was built by the Kerr Family in the 1880’s. The home showcases twelve-foot ceilings, eight-foot doors, four hand carved fireplaces, exquisite woodworking and original stained glass windows. House Guests are invited to make yourselves at home in the first floor parlor, at the dining room table, in the kitchen or on the front porch. A coffee Keurig with creamers and sugars, a tea kettle with a variety of teas and hot chocolate will be available throughout your stay. In the kitchen, there is a full-size refrigerator, electric stove/oven, microwave and dishwasher for guest use. Guests can enjoy free WiFi and cable TV. Each guest room has linens including robes and slippers available and the bathrooms offer hair dryers and personal care dispensers filled with liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner. From May through October, amenities include off-street parking, a delicious full breakfast, a garden view from the front porch, access to the outdoor hot tub and grill, and air conditioning. During the off-season, November through April, a full breakfast will be provided on Saturday and Sunday. Housekeeping is provided prior to check-in and at check-out.
