Virginia Beach is a beautiful large beach with many of things to do. There are many band shells with free live music and entertainment nightly throughout the year. There are many of water sports available as well, such as parasailing, boating, and surfing. Many of great restaurants all along the boardwalk ranging from fine dinning to very casual fare. If you like tan/golden sand beaches... you'll like it....
If you like tan/golden sand beaches... you'll like it.... I would say it was ok. I love white sand beaches myself. Best places to eat: Catch 31, Ocean Eddie's Seafood, Waterman's Surfside Grille, or Chix Seaside Grille and Bar. In most cases a place like the Hyatt and patrons with pet owners who stay do not abuse or make a mess just because they have a dog in their presence.
