This single-story home enjoys a beautiful position just across the Oregon Coast Highway and up the hill from Whaleshead Beach. It's located in the heart of the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor- a place to hike the Oregon Coast Trail, explore secluded beaches and go for long scenic drives. Harris Beach State Park, Cape Ferrelo, the Thomas Creek Bridge, Natural Bridges and Arch Rock State Park are all within seven miles. Nearby, the town of Brookings features eclectic restaurants, shops, a small movie theatre and Azalea Park. The cabin was designed to highlight its natural surroundings, from the covered front porch to the spacious sundeck. Enjoy a view of the ocean as you arrive and step out of your car in the driveway. There is a back deck with a gas grill and an outdoor table for meals, as well as a sheltered space for the hot tub. There is a 200-square-foot sunroom with windows where you can admire the sun rising over the mountains in the mornings. The rest of the house is cozy and comfortable with a mini split system for heating and cooling and large windows and skylights letting in an abundance of natural light.
