Mandavilla Rose is designed to provide comfort & connect you to the natural surrounding beauty. Generator Our property is equipped with a generator to ensure continuous power during island outages. Minimal appliance usage is important to maintain AC and hot water functions.

Conveniently located on a private road, Mandavilla Rose is perched atop a hill and a vigorous 10-minute walk to town, making exploration and local experiences close in proximity. For further island exploration and to take in all of the beauty that St. John has to offer, consider renting a Jeep for your island stay. There is parking for four vehicles on property and easy street parking as well. Our concierge can assist with renting you a vehicle. Drive on the left! Honk (quick double-tap, not long ones) in thanks when someone lets you 1) into traffic or 2) take a right turn (mainland version of a left turn). Respond to a thank-you honk with a you’re-welcome honk. It’s tacky to not show your appreciation. Carry an island map with you at all times. Try to maximize engine braking when going down hills. Brakes are known to fail when used excessively on our steep slopes. Speed limits are looked at as suggestions. But be careful: many of the roads are steep, winding curves. Look right when crossing the street.
