Nestled in the beautiful town Thabazimbi which is only a 2.5 hour drive from Pretoria, close to the Waterberg Mountains and Marakele National Park, lies El Shadai Guesthouse. This is the perfect getaway for business people and a getaway week or weekend. We have a beautiful splash pool close to the lapa area where you can be sure to relax. We have a beautiful garden where you will be able to unwind after a busy day. Our meals are home made with lots of love and our personal service and special attention to detail will ensure that you have a relaxing and comfortable stay. NOTE: Unfortunately, we are not serving dinner at this property. Dinner will be served at Maroela Restaurant (9 Maroela Street) which is about 3km from El Shadai Guesthouse.

Marakele National Park is only a 15 minute drive. Marakele National Park hosts Africa’s Big 5 game species. Here visitors can enjoy many nature trails, from steep and demanding to leisurely and relaxing. There are numerous sightings in the area from wildlife to immaculate views. We also cater for longer stays.
