A host will meet you at the property to welcome your arrival and provide you with a guided tour of the home. Your host will provide you with helpful information about the area and discuss the property's House Rules and Terms and Conditions of your reservation. Guests' are encouraged to ask questions and raise any issues before signing the property's Holiday Rental Agreement in person so that there's no dispute at a later stage should any unfortunate circumstance arise. It's imperative to note that Important Terms and Conditions Apply to ALL Reservations made at the Property. While a comprehensive list will be provided with confirmation of your reservation, the following key points apply: - Upon booking, ALL guests are required to provide proof of identification for all Guests staying at the home. - The home strictly accommodates 10 guests. It can cater for 2 extra children at an additional cost but this must be arranged in advance. - Visitors are strictly prohibited without prior approval being granted by the property's owners. - Guests are required to sign a Holiday Rental Agreement which also covers any unforeseen damages as necessary. This agreement will be provide for acceptance upon confirmation of your reservation, but it will again be signed in person with your host upon arrival. - Guests are required to pay a ZAR 30,000.00 Refundable Security Deposit which must reflect in the bank account provided, prior to arrival. - There is a very strict NO Parties or Events policy which extends to any other functions such as baby showers, hen or stag parties or luncheons etc. - This property is maintained by a security company. Guests who do not adhere to the property's Rental Agreement and House Rules will be politely asked to leave the premises without any refund. - This home is situated in a residential so noise is not permitted. - A daily basic cleaning service is provided. Additional cleaning/laundry services can be arranged at an additional cost.

The house is located in the more prestigious South side of Umdloti, often referred to as the "Llandudno of Durban." While the North side of Umdloti is known for its big apartment/holiday blocks of flats, the South side is more residential with a proper community feel, and features beautiful small rock pools perfect for small kids to play in. You can safely (also at night) walk to restaurants, shops, coffee shops which takes maximum 10minutes. For super convenience, the local Spar supermarket also does grocery deliveries. Umdloti is a super lovely little beach village, with some of KZN's top restaurants (Bel Punto; Mundo Vida), with supermarkets, hairdresser, pharmacy and other beach life related shops. A Huge plus for Umdloti is a virtually exclusive access to this pristine stretch of coastline and amazing bush walks. The Indian Ocean is usually pretty warm, offers good swell for surfers and little rock pools for kids. Umhlanga (where one of SA's biggest shopping mall is) is only 10min away and can be accessed easily through Uber (around R100).EACH The beach is only a few minutes’ walk away. There are some amazing rock pools for kids to swim in (depending on the tide), best to go straight down to the beach and turn left There is a big tidal pool on the other side of Umdloti – it can get very busy there but it’s usually lovely for kids to swim in You can go for lovely long beach walks, more quiet ones if you turn right – you could even walk all the way to Umhlanga along the beach, which would take about 1 – 1 ½ hours. It's very easy to get around Umdloti by foot - it's just 2 minutes stroll to the beach, and it's about a 10 minutes walk to restaurants, coffee shops, gift shops etc. The local Spar supermarket as well as some restaurants do deliveries if required. Uber also operates in Umdloti. Umhlanga (where one of SA's top shopping mall is) is only 10min away by car and can be accessed easily through Uber. Airport is max 10 minutes away.
