I really enjoyed my stay at Pablo House. Everyone on the staff were wonderful and made me welcome. Leigh & Lou are fab hosts and I’d love to return. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the vibe in the communal areas was friendly and inviting. Special shout out for the comfy bed, good blow dryer & nice shampoos/soaps etc. Thank you for a great stay & intro to Johannesburg :)

The team at Pablo House went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! They picked us up from the airport and drove us to our pick up location the next day at 5am. We also arrived at the hotel early and they very kindly let us check-in early. Everything from the food at the restaurant/ bar (which has a great vibe - especially in the evening) to the pool area, to the bedrooms was perfect. the location is also very safe. I could not recommend Pablo House more!

Company information

The owners Louis and Leigh are very hands on at the property, aided by their sister-in-law Jamy who runs the show. Louis started out as a musician in a local rock band, but found a passion for food and started his restaurant Pablo-Eggs-Go-Bar down the road to pay homage to the humble egg. Leigh has a passion for hospitality having worked in top hotels in London alongside her studies back in the day, but spent the lions share of her working career in corporate up until recently. Jamy the Guest House manager is young and bubbly and has a passion for customer service, she is new in the industry but loves nothing more than to see guests enjoy their stay!

Property information

Pablo House is situated on the highest point in Melville, boasting possibly the best views in Jozi. The guesthouse has 8 bedrooms, all en-suite, along with a great outdoor entertainment space & bar area. The vibe is relaxed and casual with a touch of luxury. Our guests love it because you feel like you are out of the city, yet you are actually right in the middle of things.
