Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This quaint cottage will help you forget your city worries and give you time and space to breathe fresh country air. Walk in our gardens of over 300 Rose bushes, sip a cocktail at the edge of the pool or barbeque your favorite meal in the large separate undercover entertainment area - The Lapa. Pick fresh herbs from our veggie garden for your gin or salads. Snuggle in our plush linen and dream sweet dreams under cozy duvets. 5 Mins from Nottingham road and other attractions like restaurants, shops and markets and farm stalls
We are a fun sociable couple. However, when it comes to our private time together, we are quite selfish and like to keep to just the two of us and our 2 furry kids. Our most best time of the day is when we are sipping on our favorite tipple watching the sunset and birds bathing and feeding. The only way to unwind for us is around a fireplace or braai with a backgammon set at hand. Hospitality and tourism are in our DNA and have been part of our bread and butter for the past 15 years. Our hobbies are cycling, walking, hiking, traveling and staring at the ocean whenever we can. We love picking veggies straight out of the ground which we have planted ourselves and smelling the country air. We love living in the country free from traffic and city stresses and enjoy outdoor activities.
As this is a agricultural neighborhood the only noise comes from birds and cargo trains in the distance. The Midlands Meander is a unique country getaway. Its ideal for golfers, birdwatchers, mountain biking enthusiasts, hikers. Also very entertaining for those loving pub crawls, arts and crafts and to experience a multitude of cuisines, such as German, Argentinian, Italian, French and true South African. You can taste it all. Come and experience the freshly baked patisseries, organically grown veggies at farm stalls and hormone free butcheries for the best meats you will ever taste.
