I arrived late, at 2045hr, and I texted about this and someone was there waiting for me - as normally checking in is till 1800hr. Rooms were simple and old but clean and functional, great view over the valley. The Gasthoff is situated high up in the mountains, this is a long drive over 1 car wide oads, so do not fast and look ahead - when you see a car approaching in the distance, look for a location that you or the approaching car can use to pass one another. This is fun during the day and the views are great but in the dark less comfortable - altough you see approaching cars much sooner. So when you start driving.... you may think is this the right road because it is so narrow and higher and higher... yes most likely correct because those are the roads you will be on :)

The staff at this hotel are very attentive. They are some of the hardest working people I’ve seen. We had a wonderful time there. Great location for hiking! Thanks for making our stay wonderful.

I’m really satisfied with both the service and the facilities. The front desk staff was polite and very helpful. She welcomed me warmly and assisted me in finding parking (unfortunately, the hotel doesn’t provide it). We also enjoyed a great breakfast with one of the most beautiful views we’ve ever had!
