I am absolutely in love with the place and the host. Super knowledgeable about what she is doing, obviously well travelled herself Gergana understands quality and the facilities that make one’s stay comfortable. She will also go the extra mile to facilitate your needs. We stayed there many times and will keep coming back. Needless to say that the location is ideal and the breakfast is an event of itself not precedented in Weisenheim am Berg or the surrounding villages and towns.

The hotel is in a stunning location, on top of a hill. From the turret of the ruined castle close by, it is possible to view plains below for miles and miles. The pretty little local church is also nearby. The church bells toll the time throughout the day but are quiet at night. There are pots of flowers everywhere. The village in which the hotel is situated is comprised of unspoilt medieval buildings which seem still to be occupied by local residents. There are no tourist shops. Our family party of 4 immediately felt relaxed and comfortable. Breakfast was German-style, slices of ham and cheese with fresh bread and jams etc. The dinner menu is varied and excellent. The staff are quiet, helpful and welcoming. We would describe this hotel as an authentic German, rural inn of great charm. The weather in early June was perfect. Good value for money. - The hotel is within about 40 mins drive of Speyer and the Speyer Technik Museum which is well worth a visit - see a Russian space shuttle or walk through a WW2 U-Boat.
