a lovely comfortable very large bed, excellent facilities ie bath and shower room, plenty of wardrobe space ,as we were only in Porthcawl for a one night get together with Auntie's and Uncles we could not properly take advantage of all Olivia House had on offer. I would recommend this guest house to any one with a romantic disposition.

Very clean and comfortable, fabulous power shower and comfortable bed. The staff were exceptional. Friendly and helpful with great service all round. We liked the fact that we were informed what to do and where to go in the event of fire /evacuation. Great choice of meals and generous portions. Inn was good value for money but be aware breakfast avaliable but at additional cost.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The guest house is in a great location not far from the venue we visited. Very close to the beach and easy walk into town. It was great to have tea and coffee facilities and a fridge and microwave as there is no breakfast included.

Les was extremely helpful and very friendly. It was very useful having a fridge and microwave in the room as, being December, all the local cafes were closed and we could get something from Aldi just up the road and put it in the microwave. The sink in the room was useful as the shower rooms are shared. The guest house is very close to the beach. Also we loved having the safe as it meant we were more confident leaving valuables in the room.

Great check in. there was somebody there to greet us and show us to our room. The guest house is in a great location close to sea front. The beds were very comfortable and the room was a good temperature. Plenty of tea and coffee in room. Value for money.

My friend and I were attending a wedding at the Hi Tide so the Bayside Guest House was perfectly placed for us. Although there was no breakfast served at the hotel, there was a microwave and there were tea and coffee making facilities. There shared bathroom and toilet were only a short walk down the hall, were very clean and towels were supplied. Our room at the guest house met our needs perfectly.
