If you liked fish dinners and Pubs and don't have a early flight!, this would been a good place to stay. The restaurant was packet, reservations required, Pub was packet too! This little corner Inn is in the center of Saturday night activity. To bad we were looking for a quiet night due to an early flight.

Amazing cozy little room in the heart of Venice, I have no complaint about the room itself! It was tidy, clean, smelled good, and accessible by foot. We had issues accessing it because the check-in instructions weren't clear (do not put the * into the code!), but the owner was kind enough to help us clarify the confusion, and our stay was great. I highly recommend this place.

Right after passing the door, I unwound instantly. This place is destined for the screen — with the staff getting the Oscars 😊. I checked in late evening, asked for something sweet, and was handed biscuits at no charge. During my stay I had other potentially annoying wishes: asking at 3 a.m. to give me one more night (twice!), or explaining that my flight is at … and asking for a late check-out, plus leaving behind belongings I couldn’t squeeze into my backpack, promising I’d be back on Monday (I hope). Every time, they responded with patience and courtesy. The place is definitely something exceptional, totally. At the Locanda we are meeting — even dating — the true spirit of an Italian small city. Even the most insensitive ones would feel the omnipresent story behind the Locanda, with, I bet, a significant social context woven in. As I died to know what was locanda at her youth 😋 I learned that In four years the place will celebrate its 60th anniversary. Btw how often you ask about the hotel history ? And the staff who keep it alive are exceptional: they run it with a full demonstration of courtesy towards clients, while at the same time making you feel at home. The only one thing that, if upgraded, would truly uplift the whole experience: the mattress comfort.
