Loved having a balcony, great to hang laundry to dry. Beds were a good size but took up a lot of the room. I had to share the bed with my luggage. I didn't mind, I was happy to have a comfy bed!

Great stay. Close to Minato station (2-4minutes walk), and 30 minutes from downtown/ Nambai station. The family mart next to the station can forward your luggage with Yamato. The host Kei-san was very accommodating with my check in time, which changed drastically as I missed the last train to Osaka. The space itself was so cozy, well kept, and clean. So many decorations to look at. The price is unbeatable and the beds are firm but honestly that’s how I prefer it. I chose the balcony space, and it was nice to stand outside and watch the train roll by and to dry your laundry. There is a washing machine with detergent available, and a coin laundry nearby. Bathroom is shared but shower and toilet are separate so there was never really much of a wait time. Internet was good. Location was good. Restaurants were close by. Really no downside if you’re looking for a quiet place that’s affordable and friendly. People come and go but mostly keep to themselves and are very polite. I stayed for 5 nights and felt very sad to go. Will recommend this is everybody who wants to stay in a quiet neighborhood while near Osaka :)

The value was outstanding. I booked a room during the Obon holidays, and for the price, I would've not been surprised to end up in some sort of a dorm, or at least have to use a shared bathroom or something like that. However, what I got was a spacious room with two beds and a sofa, a balcony, proper toilet and shower rooms. There also was a bunch of appliances - a TV, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, and even a small induction stove. The Wi-Fi was working fine, no complaints here. The room might not be as fancy and polished as some would expect from a (much) higher-priced hotel, but I honestly can't complain. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. He assisted me with the check-in, explained everything I needed to know, told me about the shops in the neighborhood, and even offered some suggestions on what to see in Osaka. The location of the hotel is actually pretty good for commuting. Getting to Hanazonocho station takes a minute or two of walking. It's two stations away from Namba - two stations and a transfer if you want another Namba. With a single transfer, you can go to Shin-Osaka (for shinkansen) as well. Tengachaya station is about 10 minutes away by foot and connects directly to Kansai International Airport.

Very comfortable and clean and beautifully designed. A few reviews note that you have to go through downstairs shower area to go upstairs but there is enough privacy, so not really an issue. You do have to go through upper bedroom to go up on the roof, but to be honest we didn't use that area very often as it was just too hot! Good wifi and the TV has Netflix etc if you have accounts. Good location; not so touristy more genuine Osaka! Close to huge shopping street so no problems with food etc.
