The villa is located in a beautiful setting and we really felt like we could relax and enjoy the facilities. The staff were incredibly personable, warm, welcoming and made sure that we had everything we could possibly need throughout our stay. The breakfast was everything you could ask for and we loved that they went to the effort to make different baked treats every day. It is off the beaten track but it was very easy to book a bolt or an Uber to Cascais, Sintra and Lisbon for a very reasonable price. We loved our stay at Villa Pietra and we will be returning 💛

It is a great location for visiting Sintra (or nearby beaches). It has a huge converted loft room. The owner Ricardo was very helpful and gave us some great tips. There is a large open space to the rear used as a car park, entered via another side road, really useful as the front road is narrow, quaint but cramped if arriving by car.

We drove there with parking available and were allowed to park there before check in time. We were able to walk home at night after dinner from the city centre along the road. Beautiful location in a beautiful setting on route to Pena Palace with a bus stop very near and easy access to the city center and attractions.

Alberto took the time to familiarise us on the area such as where to drive too as well as restaurants and parking, which is always a challenge in Sintra. Ideal location as a base to travel to the coast as well as Lisbon. The guest house was immaculate and kitchen well equipped. Comfortable communal facilities, lounge, dinning room and outside terrace. Highly recommended, would definitely stay here again.
